PIANO

I offer piano lessons for children, beginners of any age and hobby level players. They are available online or in my office. My availability for at-home visits is limited, but feel free to ask if I have a spot.
Piano is a great instrument to begin your musical journey with or pick up where you left it years ago.
With me you will develop and improve your technique through following a piano teaching curriculum, learn or refresh music reading, work on piano study material, and we’ll make sure to include songs you would like to learn as well.

With younger players we will focus on learning about music and different musical genres, developing motor skills and rhythm while slowly working their way through developing piano playing technique and getting to know the instrument. My focus is to develop their love for music and slowly building a practice routine when they are an appropriate age.

Beginner Age: 5+

GROUP LESSONS

How does it work?

Piano group lessons consist of 2 -3 students with a similar knowledge level, so they will either all be beginners or advanced groups.
Time duration: lessons are 45min long
Why group lessons?
∙ you or your child can now take music lessons with friends and split the cost
• opportunity to learn as an individual but also have the opportunity to play in an ensemble
• often group lessons improve motivation to practice (due to healthy peer encouragement)
• promoting team building and cooperation
• building confidence and reducing the risk of stage fright because playing in front of people becomes a part of a routine
